Hi,
when I configure an http proxy under System / Advanced / Miscellaneous, some functions do not use the proxy:
System/Firmware/Updater Settings
System/Packages
interestingly, System/Packages/Available Packages does use the proxy, but it seems not to work ("Unable to communicate with https://packages.pfsense.org..."). The proxy log shows a POST request for https://packages.pfsense.org/xmlrpc.php (with 501 HTTP status code), which is strange, usually https proxy clients do a CONNECT instead.
