Description

I would like to see an app for pfSense that can manage all my pfSense boxes from one place in a manner similar to Project Calypso from WordPress that provides a JSON interface that runs on Windows and OS X. Ideally I would like to see a universal Windows 10 app so I can run it everywhere. Happy to get involved with programming it as I'm an experienced Windows dev.

This is something we are actively studying at the moment. The Calypso architecture seems compelling. Thanks for the link.

One of the challenges to be met is accessing the pfSense API when it is not the edge device, and for this the Saltstack configuration management system may come into play. http://saltstack.com/

A single page web app with a database of pfSense configurations and status, talking to a remote salt minion is an interesting option.
