Feature #5646
openSquid3 package Authentication Method : Kerberos/AD
0%
Description
Hi,
Is there a plan to add Authentication Method for kerberos/Active Directory ?
According to squid documentation, msktutil and kerberos support in squid are needed.
In 2.2.5, kerberos is in base but I do not know if squid3 from package have kerberos support from base (/usr/pbi/squid-amd64/bin/negociate_kerberos_auth is present).
With this solution samba is not needed.
Thanks for your help

I certainly don't plan on adding any such things. (This is a feature request and not a bug, BTW. Submit PRs against https://github.com/pfsense/FreeBSD-ports/tree/devel/www/pfSense-pkg-squid if you have such need.)

I can not change BUG to feature request.
This is my first PR to pfsense/FreeBSD-ports, https://github.com/pfsense/FreeBSD-ports/pull/34 it needs of course testing and debugging but It works against 2012R2 AD and pfSense 2.3. Internet Explorer does not ask password and connect directly to Internet.
