pfsense 2.2.5 with dansguardian 0.1.14
after issueing a stop on the dansguardian service the following files remain in /tmp
.dguardianipc
.dguardianurlipc
these prevent dansguardian from starting up again. and have to be removed manually as below.
rm /tmp/.dguardianipc
rm /tmp/.dguardianurlipc

okay it was definitely having issues and not starting earlier. not sure what changed but it seems to be working properly now. if i cannot get it to do this again in the next couple of days i will close this out.

this can be closed, i would do it myself but i cannot figure out how to do it or i don't have permission to close my own issues.
