Description

I've never seen it, but at least a couple people have reported connectivity issues when viewing the traffic graph. Most or all traffic through the box apparently halts. Browsing to any other page in the web interface brings everything back to normal. The likely culprit IMO is rate and it switching promiscuous mode off and on repeatedly.

I don't see an option in rate to not go into promiscuous mode. Ideally we could add such an option and use it, as we don't need promiscuous mode in the vast majority of our users' usages and it's apparently causing problems for a few (aside from the log clutter annoyance, and you don't want to not log promisc changes).

Patched to not go promiscious and other fixes.

The port needs to be rebuilt on the builder though.
