Description

OS: 2.3.1-RELEASE (i386)
built on Tue May 17 18:46:37 CDT 2016 FreeBSD 10.3-RELEASE-p3

Platform: PC-Engines Alix
CPU Type: Geode(TM) Integrated Processor by AMD PCS

Package: RRD_Summary version: 1.3.1_2

Issue: RRD_Summary package reports incorrect statistics.

Path: https://192.168.1.1/status_rrd_summary.php

shows: for a current month - Bandwidth total: 108864 MBytes
shows: for a last month - Bandwidth total: 1864608 MBytes

This can not be possibly correct. This particular device serving as a router on a residential ISP (ATT DLS) with a maximum download speed of 1.7 MB/s.

Before the upgrade to the current PFSense version, average bandwidth was between 30 to 40 GB.

According the stats currently reported, it seems that bandwidth that passed through the appliance is:

1864608 Megabytes = 1864.608 Gigabytes.

That would equivalent to a traffic I got at one of our co-location data-center, and definitely not on a home DLS line from ATT.

Could some one from a dev team take a look at this ticket, and touch-base with me if I am at error interpreting the stats or there is a legitimate issue here.

Note: this current PFsense install is an upgrade with GUI. The states written in wan-traffic.rrd migrated from the previous version of PFsense.

The interface assignment was kept the same.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help to diagnose the issue.

Thank you.
