Description

It is good to have the hostname in the menu for quickly identifying the gateways, however almost all of our hostnames are too long and make the menu bar wrap to the next line.

Things to fix this (and make the menu less cluttered) could be:
- Add an option to change/remove the pfSense logo, or change it permanently to an icon instead of the full logo when the "Fully Qualified Domain Name" is selected
- Add an option to change/remove the gold menu (really should be under help anyway), especially as it wastes space when I already have a gold subscription/don't want one.
- Set the hostname to a fixed width and us ellipsis so that the menu can never go over 2 lines

Done here: https://github.com/pfsense/pfsense/pull/3566

(without the "option" part, as it's been wasting the rather limited space for 2 major releases now, and that's been just enough of a proof that it's not going to find any reasonable use, IMNSHO. Since that change was declined, you'll need to keep patching the useless Gold thing yourself.)
