Bug #7282
closedESXi 6.5 SCSI errors on 2.4
0%
Description
Installed the 20170219044210 build on my ESXi box, using the LSI Parallel driver and a single 8GB drive, and I'm getting constat "Error 5, Unretryable error" SCSI errors on this box. If I download large files on my 200Mbps line, they will download 100MB, pause for 5-10seconds, continue and rinse repeat. 2.3.3 does not have this issue, using the same storage driver. I'm actually using 2.3.3 on this host as my main router now.
My store is a local SATA Samsung 840 500GB SSD on the host itself, with 5 additional VMs running on it without issues. I tried switching to the VMWare Parallel driver, but unfortunately the installer does not recognize any drives using it.

- Status changed from New to Closed
- Priority changed from High to Normal
No problems here with ESX 6.5.
Even if there were, that isn't an area we touch. Reproduce it with a stock FreeBSD 11 image and report it upstream to FreeBSD and/or VMWare
