I have installed the OpenBGPd package on pfsense 2.4.2 and generally, it all works great.

However, after reboot, bgpd failed to come up. I have attached the log messages from routing.log as bgpd.log.

The log shows bgpd going down for reboot at 18:54, then failing to start during boot at 18:57 and
then being started manually (without any problems) by me from the webinterface at 19:01.

I then updated from 2.4.2 to 2.4.3_1 and bgpd came up during boot. However the routing.log
(attached as bgpd-new.log) still shows bgpd being started twice.

I see two possible reasons for the observed behavior:
a) There was a problem in 2.4.2 which has been fixed in 2.4.3_1 and bgpd being started twice is an orthogonal issue
b) bgpd being started twice leads to problems which are dependent on timing, and the issue might reoccur on 2.4.3_1

Either way, I think bgpd getting started twice is definitely a bug which should be fixed.
