Description

Hello,
I'm trying to create a new user for VPN access, I have tried creating cert within user creation and from cert manager. Both ways not working.
System > User Manager > Add > fill out info > select Click to create a user certificate > save (Certficate is created but empty, it doesn't have validation date, etc...)

If I choose to create a Cert following way, I'm getting an error openssl libray returns: error0906D06C:PEM (see attached pic)
System > Cert. Manager > Certificates > Add > Create an internal cert > Descriptive and Common Name: User1

System Info:
Version 2.4.1-RELEASE (amd64) built on Sun Oct 22 17:26:33 CDT 2017 , FreeBSD 11.1-RELEASE-p1
CPU Type: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2695 v2 @ 2.40GHz, AES-NI CPU Crypto: Yes (inactive)

Could you please

  • Status changed from New to Not a Bug

Something in your config or parameters is incorrect, but more importantly, you are several versions out of date. Update, try again, and post to the forum or pfSense subreddit for help. There is no bug here.

It worked after a complete shutdown.
