Description

Hi there.

After upgrading to 2.4.4 I suddenly lost all internet access. However, I noticed that my secondary gateway still had connectivity so I looked into how they differed in config.

My primary gateway used 9.9.9.9 for DNS. After switching it over to 8.8.8.8 (Google DNS) the gateway got connectivity again. Before I made the change I could not ping any internet connected server using DNS or IP. I'm not sure if it's an issue with 9.9.9.9 specifically or if its a DNSSEC thing, but using 1.1.1.1 seemed to work and Cloudflare supports DNSSec too.

Not enough here for a valid bug report. Your WAN connectivity wouldn't have any correlation to DNS.

Start a post on the forum or pfSense subreddit to discuss and diagnose the issue to identify the actual underlying issue. If a bug can be isolated after discussion, a more accurate/complete entry can be made here.
