Description

Did not see anything in recent issues covering this. Apologize in advance if duplicate.

On some systems, FreeBSD 11.2 will not boot until one adds the following line to /etc/loader.conf

kern.vty=”sc”

Upstream problem, appears to be fixed by FreeBSD 11.3 / 12.1, nothing for us to do here, whichever version we use for the next release would include the fix.

Workaround is already well documented. Closing this out.
