Description

Hi,

I created routed/VTI site-to-site vpn from my pfsense box to google cloud (https://cloud.google.com/vpn/docs/how-to/creating-route-based-vpns)
I setup on pfsense:
Enter 10.6.106.1/30 for the Local Network Address
Enter 10.6.106.2 for the Remote Network Address
The problem is that I don't have an option to setup interface IP on google cloud site. VPN works when gateway check and gateway actions are disabled.

But after rebooting pfsense box the VPN stopped working (pfsense doesn't have static routing rule in routing table). When I've opened the static route via web interface and save again all works fine.

Best,
Yordan

It doesn't sound like that has anything at all to do with Google, so the description/subject may be completely inaccurate.

The only problem here is that your static routes are not present at boot time. Please open a thread on the forum to discuss this in more detail and gather information before opening a bug report. If the problem can be replicated we can open a new bug report with accurate information.

Hi Jim Pingle,

Why pfsense don't do this? See my configuration, I give you steps to replicate the reported issue...

The issue was not properly defined and we need to discuss the issue to find out more about it before jumping straight to a bug report.
