Description

Hi,

I wanted to test out the current snapshots on my AMD Ryzen based platform, mainly to see if the CPU temperature is reported correctly now. After the upgrade from 2.4.x it gets most of the way through the boot process before crashing. I've attached the output.

That appears to be fairly low-level in FreeBSD, not likely something we can do anything about for that platform. It doesn't appear to be happening due to something pfSense is doing, based on the backtrace.

I'd check for a BIOS update, maybe see if stock FreeBSD 12 is stable on that board. You'll probably have to reproduce the problem there and take it upstream to FreeBSD, at least look through the FreeBSD PRs for similar reports.

Thanks for the answer, just FYI the board is on the latest UEFI from earlier this month. Ill give stock FreeBSD a test.

Closing since it appears to be an upstream FreeBSD bug
