User aliases managed by the system differ from system aliases in that managed aliases are saved to config.xml. These user-facing aliases can be added by services and are meant to be managed by the system; any user modifications are lost upon the alias being regenerated. Make the GUI aware of these aliases so that they are still visible but cannot be modified by the user.
Auto-managed aliases differ in that no actions are available; instead the @Actions@ column contains an icon indicating the alias is managed.
