Description
Dear All,
I'm in-love with pfSense and really it's a great project BUT i'm facing a problem and looking for solution for more than 2 months. the problem is I have a captive portal for my internet users and devices, I can't control PER USER internet bandwidth. for example i'm welling to see a patch to add a firewall rule and in the destination will be the user name. Please try to do your best in that matter because your firewall is more than perfect.
Thanks for understanding and Good Luck.
- Tracker changed from Todo to Feature
- Category changed from Rules / NAT to Captive Portal
- Priority changed from Very High to Normal

Using RADIUS with Captive Portal you can set individual traffic quota, time limits, bandwidth and Custom redirection URL
See: https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/captiveportal/captive-portal-configuration.html
- Status changed from New to Rejected
- Target version deleted (
Future)
What is possible, is already possible.
