Description

When responding to snmp queries, populate IF-MIB::ifAlias.n snmp attribute with gui configurated interface description as some switches does (eg cisco).

Wouldn't be possible with the built-in SNMP (bsnmpd). Doubtful it can be done with NET-SNMP directly either, but perhaps via custom extend commands.

Even then, not something we'd spend development time on, but if someone else wants to try, we'd be happy to review a pull request for it.

Actually I take that back, we added the GUI interface descriptions to the OS interfaces in #1557 which lets them show up in bsnmpd under ifAlias already.

But they still don't show up in NET-SNMP, so it still could used addressed there.

tl;dr: Already implemented on 2.5.0 so this is redundant for the base system, still could use a patch/method to get them on NET-SNMP package.
