Description

I wanted to ask for a feature for a Web Browser clientless based VPN Portal, where I can activate a VPN with credentials, without installing a client.

Just like the Captive Portal, just for VPN.

Is that possible? (Cisco had this in their system)

  • Project changed from pfSense to pfSense Packages
  • Subject changed from VPN Web Portal to Browser-based "clientless" VPN
  • Category changed from Web Interface to New Package Request
  • Release Notes deleted (Default)

Unless something new has come up recently there aren't any reliable and actively developed open source browser-based VPN packages that could fill this role. Once upon a time there was OpenVPN ALS/Adito but that has been dead for years.

If one comes along that is proven to be reliable and secure, and it works on FreeBSD, then it could be considered for inclusion as a package.
