Description
A pfsense technical support person named Ryan recommended I make a feature request on this forum. I am coming from a 25 year history of selling, installing, and servicing sonicwall firewalls. My feature request is to have multiple "REMOTE GATEWAYS" on the IPSEC VPN connections. I have read the following document that describes the method currently used by pfsense. This method requires the use of a 3rd party service to work and a more simple way is the feature that Sonicwalls utilize. They have a simple field for a 2nd remote gateway IP Address that is used if the vpn connection fails. The firewall attempts to connect on the backup ip adddress until the primary ip address connects.
