It would be really useful if PfSense added support for CoA packets received from freeradius, as coova-chilli does (see coaport and coanoipcheck here: https://coova.github.io/CoovaChilli/chilli.conf(5).html)

This feature would need a new process listening on a specific port and allowing only the RADIUS hosts to communicate to it via UDP.
The features which would be useful IMHO are:
- Disconnect requests
- CoA requests to change reply attributes (eg: Session-Timeout, bandwidth limitations, max total octets, etc)
This feature makes sense only when the captive portal is using an external RADIUS for AAA.
