Description

$config['system']['disablevpnrules'] in 1.2.3 disabled the auto-added WAN rules for IPsec and PPTP (and tun rules for OpenVPN, though that's no longer applicable). This config setting is missing entirely from the GUI and back end in 2.0 and must be there.

Well in 1.2.3 you could not override these settings at all while on 2.0 you can!
I do not think the setting is necessary anymore you can just override it.

Yes you can override it but those who upgrade need the exact same functionality they had before without changing anything.

Perhaps I'm missing something - I have yet to see a single auto-added FW rule for VPNs on my boxes: I thought the checkbox went missing because 2.0 didn't create the automatic rules at all! Is this not the case?
