Description

ntopng version that now comes with pfsnese plus 23.01 no longer tracks top talkers across time(no historical tracking of top talkers).

This seems to be a regression in the version available in the repo. This was not the case prior to 23.01

There is no reliable way to track top talkers across multiple interfaces on 23.01 using ntopng (actually no tool exists on pfsense except ntopng for this purpose).

The solution would would be to either make the previous version available or see if the problem is resolved in a new package update if available in FreeBSD.

FWIW, I spent some time checking into this. Unfortunately, this is a basic restriction in the community version of ntopng upstream. Customized dashboards, such as one with only a large Top Flow Talkers, require a license.
