Feedback:

Hello.

There is a missing one important section of the documentation/system.
To install and configure QEMU guest-agent inside the pFSense VM.

On the Proxmox VE side, there is just one click on VM (pfSense):
Options --> QEMU Agent [x] (checkbox) to enable it.

Importance of Qemu guest agent is explained here:
https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Qemu-guest-agent.

Also it will be great to add the qemu-guest-agent package to:
System --> Package Manager --> Available Packages:

And after installation to enable it at the pfSense (VM) startup as a service.

P.S. Qemu guest agent is important on all the other Linux based (KVM+QEMU) hypervisors like OpenStack, Red Hat / Oracle Virtualization (Proxmox VE) etc.

BR,
Hrvoje.

Until that is a package users can install in the GUI, that doesn't belong in the documentation. It's in the repo for users to do manually but that is only for testing, it's not officially supported.

If someone wants to install that manually they are on their own.

There is already a feature request for the GUI package at #12179
