Description
Dear pfSense Team!
Generally and mostly System Logs section used by FW admins:
- on initial stage of pfSense implementation (when a lot of changes or tunes are made);
- on maintenance stage (when some network environment changes and some tuning/changes need to be improved);
In both situations THE ERRORS ARE MAIN TARGETS when checking if tuning of settings made correctly and all works well.
So, because of this and the fact that most of all software (packages and FreeBSD itself) write the phrase that contains “error” in log string, the pre-entered word “error” in Advanced Log Filter” in “Message” section would be useful and helpful to:
- save work time of pfSense Admins and
- speed up finding errors;
Sound reasonable?
