New Content #15193
closedAdd documentation for new State Policy options
100%
Description
In #15173 we added a global option to change the default state policy to be interface-bound instead of floating. The OS default changed from if-bound to floating style when we moved to a FreeBSD 14 base, so this is primarily a return to previous behavior, but now with the option to control it.
See #15173 for the global option and #15183 for the per-rule option to override the global option.
The GUI already contains much of the relevant text but there should be a lot more info about differences in the behavior, especially when it comes to multi-WAN, route-to, VPNs, and so on.
Some behavior may still change before 24.03 release.
