Description

In the 24.03 recovery images the image label file is shown as:

pfSense-plus-memstick-24.03-RELEASE-amd64.txt

That shows on both the memstick-vga and memstick-serial images. The memstick-serial image should be labelled as such.

That is now also shown on the current Net Installer image (Apr 19th) but was not on the Beta4 image (Apr 5th).

This is still incorrect in current 24.11 images. There both memstick images show with the file named:

pfSense-plus-memstick-serial-24.11-ALPHA-amd64-20241014-0600

  • Target version changed from 24.11 to 25.07

Moving this ahead but since the installer image is decoupled from pfSense releases this isn't necessarily tied to a given pfSense release anymore.
