Description
The writeup on how to connect to the console via a Mac is out of date. Sonoma MacOS has the driver built in, no driver from Silicon Labs needed. The basic procedure is:
- connect serial cable between Mac and SG-2100.
- fire up terminal window on the Mac
- ls -l /dev/cu.* to find the full path of the cu.usbserial device to connect to
- fire up GNU screen (type "screen", you may have to be admin or root to use screen) by doing "screen /dev/cu.usbserial-[number] 115200"
- plug in the SG-2100, and watch it boot up.
If you have trouble typing to the screen to do things, give it a kick by sending a "break" signal via screen. To do this: cntrl a, cntrl b.

The current docs are already saying most of that -- the only new bits are the driver, which already says "if needed" and the last part about maybe needing to send a serial break which is unnecessary.
