Feedback: This is a minor point, but in the section "First Generation" where it says "Create and activate new ZFS Boot Environment...", isn't "and activate" incorrect?

Yes, that is how it used to operate previously. That section is a summary/overview not a complete list of steps so it doesn't go into detail about how the old one gets renamed and so on.
