Description

disabled GRE tunnels initiate connect and get p2p connectivity when assigned interface is disabled, but parent interface goes down and up again.
reproduced on my system, status_output attached

disabled interface is opt9 (gre0)
syslog specifically for the related events attached

I couldn't replicate that behavior. I tried turning the parent interface from the GUI and disconnecting the cable. In both cases, the assigned GRE interface (which was disabled prior to the parent interface disconnection actions) stayed disabled.
