Description
Migrate from the custom code for configuring the CURL proxy when downloading files to using the set_curlproxy() system function in pfSense.

The fix for this issue has been posted in Pull Request 1382 posted against the RELENG_2_7_2 branch of pfSense here: https://github.com/pfsense/FreeBSD-ports/pull/1382.
Once the PR is merged, this issue can be marked "Resolved".
