Unable to assign CA issued certificate to a web configurator 24.03 Azure appliance
Added by Abhi B 5 days ago.

Affected Architecture:
amd64
Description
The issued certificate from external CA is showing incompatible that means it is not available to assign, this issue is on the new Azure VM, the same CA authority and certificate works fine on the old machine which is on the version 22.05
Files
- Category changed from Administrivia to Certificates
- Status changed from New to Incomplete
- Priority changed from High to Normal
There isn't nearly enough information here to even speculate about what might be happening, but the most likely explanation is either a configuration error (e.g. imported the CSR, not the cert) or the certificate itself actually isn't compatible in some way (wrong type of EC curve or similar). If you have access to TAC, submit the certificate details there and have someone assist with figuring out what is happening. Otherwise, post on the forum (but redact the private info from the cert).
If an actionable bug is identified this can be reopened with more detail.
The certificate appears to be perfectly fine and works on the other instance. However, it is not working on the new instance, and reissuing the certificate does not resolve the issue. Both the CA and the certificate seem to be valid, but I am unable to assign the certificate to the web configurator. That said, I am able to assign the internal CA certificate issued by pfSense.
