Description
Page: https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/releases/versions.html
Feedback:
This page lists the FreeBSD version that pfsense 25.11 was derived from as 16.0-CURRENT@44f3e9f7f6c9. This is incorrect as there is currently no 16-CURRENT branch (and there certainly wasn't one in October of 2025 when 44f3e9f7f6c9 dropped).

It is based on "FreeBSD-CURRENT" which is 16 at the moment: https://docs.freebsd.org/en/books/handbook/cutting-edge/#current
If you execute uname -r it calls itself 16-CURRENT.
To keep the formatting of that column consistent and show the version, it uses that format. The part after the @ is the specific commit of the last upstream merge for that version.
Note that it the column calls it a version and NOT a branch, so it doesn't need to specifically refer to exactly the corresponding FreeBSD branch name.
