Description
This was previously a port package that was unmaintained, but was pulled into the base kernel for FreeBSD 16.0.
Unfortunately, the commit that PFSense 2.9.0 was built against just barely missed a critical upstream bug fix to this driver that solves a number of correctness issues. In particular, the driver fails to send traffic when more than one VLAN tag is assigned to it. This was fixed in https://cgit.freebsd.org/src/commit/?id=619934a5c165 a few weeks after the hash that 2.9.0 is built against.
