Description

We have some Synology NAS's that perform backups and due to bandwidth constraints we have these NAT out through a 2nd ISP.

I have a manual NAT rule for this. The NAS's sit on a routed network 90.x.x.x supplied by ISP. This network has zero NAT.

But I wanted to have the NAS's go out via ISP, which I have achieved using policy routing and outgoing NAT.

Under 26.03.1 this works perfectly, but with 26.07 this fails.

I have done a packet capture and can confirm that no packets arrive out of the ISP WAN. If I do a packet capture of ISP, I can see the outgoing packets with no NAT applied, which sadly do not reach the intended destination due to the peer's firewall.

Policy routing and NAT are working as expected in a variety of circumstances here, there is most likely a configuration issue in your case, perhaps one that was working before by chance.

There isn't nearly enough information here to say what might be happening and this site is not for support or diagnostic discussion.

For assistance in solving problems, please post on the Netgate Forum .
