another question
how does snort define port(s) and port range?
when i glance over snort.conf it looks like
snort.conf just lists port(s) with spaces
example: 7000 8181 32770 32771 32772 32773 32774 32775 32776 32777 32778 32779
from pfsense forums it's unclear how you can define a range of ports
it seems they use this method to declare a port range 32770:32779 as (32770-32779)
