Remove share/doc from Pbi Packages
Added by Carlos Cesario over 12 years ago.
Updated over 12 years ago.
Description
I saw pbi packages that are consuming a considerable space in hard disk in comparison with tbz packages.
Does possible remove the directory share/doc in the moment of creation of PBI packages? Or is really necessary to keep these directories.
That would help a lot systems with a small hard discs :)

There was a bug in the pbi_makeport code that was causing the exclude list to not be respected. I found and fixed the bug (and mailed a patch to the PBI maintainers) and confirmed that new PBIs will have share/doc removed. A new set of PBIs is building now and they will upload as they go, so this should be OK once they all get built. That may take >24hrs or so.
After reinstall all packages, the doc directory isn't present, and the size decrease :)
