What browser are you using to test this? I know these things tend no to work in IE.

Also if you get any JS errors in your browser, it would help to know what they are. Or if you can run firebug or chrome's debug mode when you try it may also give a better lead.

Hi Jim, I was digging further and I've tested the following combinations:

  • Fedora 17, amd64, Firefox 13.0.1, with and without plugins)
  • Windows XP, i686, Firefox 13.0.1, temp profile, no plugins)
  • Windows XP, i686, Firefox 14.0.1, temp profile, no plugins)

Using the web console I get the following:

[16:42:31.848] jQuery(icon).attr("src") is undefined @ http://<nodeip>/status_openvpn.php:412

And the error console gives me this:

Timestamp: 07/20/2012 04:38:10 PM
Error: node is undefined
