Description

  • Add IPv4 CARP address to WAN, i.e. 10.10.10.1, prefixlen /29
  • Add IPv6 CARP address to WAN, i.e. 2001:db8:0:e901::2, prefixlen /64
  • Save configuration, configuration works fine
  • Open configuration dialog on IPv6 CARP address again, edit description (or don't edit anything at all)
  • prefixlen is set to /29, although you didn't change anything
  • press save
  • IPv6 CARP address is now /29, which makes a directly connected /29 route on your WAN interface, blackholing all traffic to all destinations covered by this large prefix
