Description
I have a box with pfSense 2.0.2 with several packages installed:
arping
Cron
mtr-nox11
OpenVPN Client Export Utility
OpenVPN tap Bridging Fix
Shellcmd
stunnel
widescreen
which I would like to clone onto another box. Using Diagnostics/Backup and restore I've made a full backup config and then:
1. Installed pfSense from scratch onto another box using the flash drive with the backed up config file
2. After installation is completed, opened Diagnostics/Backup and restore and choose "Reinstall packages"
For some reason, only "OpenVPN tap Bridging Fix" package has been reinstalled.

as described is not a general issue, and good chance any edge case has been fixed in the years since.
