I just acquired a ServGate SG230 (P3-1.0Ghz appliance), but suspect that the Firebox appliance users also see this.
Serial console output exists for normal boot, as well as initial Interface assignment. However, after the "bootup complete" message, there is nothing. The Web interface is accessible, and SSH (after being enabled) is accessible with the correct console menu there. However, it would be GREAT to have the serial input.
This is with 2.1-i386 embedded(tried both 2g and 4g images), no vga.
/etc/ttys only shows:
... console "/usr/libexec/getty Pc" cons25 on secure # #ttyv0 "/usr/libexec/getty Pc" cons25 on secure
