Description

Hello,

when i set a „IPv6 Upstream Gateway“ with the link „or add a new one“ on the Interface GUI. It works fine! But if I wan’t to edit the gateway settings in: System->Routing->Edit I get everytime the error message:

The following input errors were detected:
• The gateway address 2a02:cafe:cafe:cafe::1 does not lie within one of the chosen interface's subnets.

The IPv6 address of the interface is: 2a02:cafe:cafe:cafe::2/64.

Greetings

Samuel

Are you creating a tunnel? See #3484 - you should just leave the GW as dynamic instead of creating one manually.

Hello,

I use a Sixxs tunnel. I found my fault. The Subnet Mask of the GIF-Interface must set to 128. Then the GW was created automatically, with a dynamic address.
When I set the Subnet Mask of the GIF-Interface to 64, no GW will be created automatically. And then I had to set the GW manually.

Thanks
