Description

the default update URL used in my pfsense 2.1.4-RELEASE (i386) is

http://updates.pfsense.org/_updaters

why not use
https://updates.pfsense.org/_updaters
instead?

i could manually change that at "Update Settings", but then pfsense warns about not checking signatures (signatures or hashes?) anymore.

Default update URL points to https as you can see at:

i've got the same setting in globals.inc, still it shows a http-link at the update-settings and a tcpdump while downloading the update shows it uses http instead of https.
