Description

Hello,

I just upgraded my pfSense 2.1.5 install to the latest 2.2 beta release.
Once the update completed, i could not get on internet and had 4 messages reading the following:

[ There were error(s) loading the rules: pfctl: bridge0: driver does not support altq - The line in question reads [0]: ]

My setup has a LAN and a WLAN card tied togheter by a bridge that acts as LAN.
As of my understandings, altq is priority management, so i tried to get rid of my traffic shaper rules.
Once i deleted all queues, my internet got working again.
So i guess traffic shaping on bridges is not yet implemented in 2.2 as it was in 2.1.5 ?

Ozy.

Hello,

Sorry for the late testing.
I tried to reenable traffic shaping via the wizard but get this one:
[[There were error(s) loading the rules: pfctl: bridge0: driver does not support altq - The line in question reads [0]: ...]]

Running
2.2-BETA (i386)
built on Sun Oct 26 06:38:35 CDT 2014
FreeBSD 10.1-RC3

It works for me but there were some patches accidentally removed from builds which have been put back.

The message is gone. Trouble stays:
But i don't have a single clue why but:

I don't have internet access from my LAN (ping from pfsense to internet works).
I remove the traffic shaper rules, i instantly get internet access.
I put them back with the wizard, it works but rules don't get logged (i added "log this rule" to some and made tests that should match).
If i reboot, i don't have internet access again from my LAN, unless i remove traffic shaper rules again.

Running:
2.2-BETA (i386)
built on Sat Nov 08 15:40:19 CST 2014
FreeBSD 10.1-RC4-p1

Maybe my box is fed up of running various ugprades from 2.0 beta to 2.0 to 2.1 beta to 2.1 and then to 2.2 beta.
Tell me if you can't reproduce this, so i'll install from scrach and restore config.

Regards,
Ozy.

this issue is fixed, this isn't the place to discuss what's likely a support issue not a bug. Please post to the 2.2 board on the forum.
