Description

Hi,

I installed pfsense from the NETGATE ADI RCC-VE memstick image onto a RCC-VE 2440. Everything worked perfectly but as soon as I restored a config file, I lost the console after the reboot.

It looks like restoring the console strips the comconsole_port="0x2F8" from /boot/loader.conf. That sets back the console port as uart0 instead of uart1.

I don't know if it does the same thing for any restore. I took my .xml file from a PFSense 2.2.2 router (same version) but with different NIC and nanobsd system type. I just replaced the interface names prior to restore so it matches the ones on the new physical router.
