Description

Been using the same setup for 2 years and no configuration changes but the update to 2.2.3-RELEASE (i386) however suspect problem may have happened before.

The system is fine, no complaints from 30 users, suddenly my reporting of RRD stops and when I came in this morning and refreshed the pfsense web page it all started again.

So as I left and overnight and return, the 'reporting' stops.

Nothing else wrong, log files (hack attempts etc) all fine.

  • Project changed from pfSense Packages to pfSense
  • Category set to RRD Graphs
  • Status changed from New to Feedback

Going to need more details, not a general issue anywhere along those lines. Anything RRD-related in the system log? Is there something you can do to replicate on your system?

Dear Chris and others,
Many thanks for coming back to me, the above link is just over 5mb for the uploader as I have contained the RRD data, I presume Log data is also in the same file.. i don't know.

The only pattern I can see is that when I login to pfSense (leaving browser window open for it timeout in a tab) it 'stops' and records NAN in the RRDGraphs page.

The link above login4password is the pass, this is not my normal password. I attempted to remove all ip addresses and identity from the config file.

You will see I have pfSense in use with a complicated network.

I am also seriously thinking about purchasing the PF Sense box to replace my hardware here although I don't see anything wrong with what I am using.

Dave: is that something that's replicable on your system? The logs aren't in config backups. If it is replicable on your system I'd like to get access and see what happens as I don't see a means of replicating from that.

no known replicable circumstance here. Dave, if you have a system where this is still an issue, please follow up.
