Description

After flashing the following image pfSense-2.2.4-RELEASE-2g-i386-nanobsd to a PCEngines Alix Firewall and importing our configuration file from our production 2.0.1-RELEASE identical unit I am getting repeated kernel crashes under low and medium load.

System Board is the following: http://pcengines.ch/alix2d3.htm

We have been running the 2.0.1-RELEASE without problems prior to the upgrade.

I appreciate we have made a massive leap and so its difficult to know where the regression occurred.

We are running 2.1-RELEASE at another site so im tempted to do a little detective work by starting there and walking the releases tree until I see the crash.

Also I will try and restore the config but leaving out the system tunables and see if its a setting in there.

Happy to send my running config to any of the pfsense team although I think Chris still has it ;)

Please try a 2.2.5 snapshot (or 2.2.5 release which should be coming out soon) -- that's a known panic that has been fixed. See #4685
