Description

After several days we need to restart captive portal because it stop sending accounting updates to freeradius.

Freeradius using MySQL database, MAC authentication, and more than 500 clients.

does captive portal stop sending them, or does FreeRADIUS stop receiving them? Ticket's filed under FreeRADIUS, but seems to be about captive portal.

JimP made several changes to CP for FreeRADIUS accounting in 2.3 in the past week to fix issues, though I don't recall anything related to accounting stopping.

I haven't seen or even heard of anything like this happening. We have customers who run CP in similar circumstances and if they had to reset it, we'd be hearing about it constantly.
