Bug #6346
closedSquid Proxy Server Service randomly stops
0%
Description
Squid Proxy Server Service stops from time to time and will not start from the services tab, requires a restart of the system to get it working again
Updated by Chris Buechler almost 9 years ago
- Status changed from New to Feedback
- Priority changed from High to Normal
best to start a forum thread so others can help pinpoint the specific cause and whether it's actually a bug. Impossible to tell what's happening from that description. There should be something in the system log when you start it from Status>Services and it doesn't start. What do you get there?

I dont know how to get better logging for squid but this is everything in the cache file

is there anything in the system log (Status>System logs) when it fails to start under Status>Services?
