After applying an upgrade to pfSense the system reboots. When the system reboots the radiusd daemon does not restart automatically, it requires that the admin interface be accessed and the service started manually. The problem occurred when upgrading from 2.2.x to 2.3, from 2.3 to 2.3.1, and from 2.3.1 to 2.3.1_1. Reinstalling the freeradius package as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the freeradius package did not fix the issue.
