Description
We are deploying pfsense the company as proxy using squid + squidguard and authenticating in our openldap base (linux). But the squid only provides authentication "basic", where the login and password of the user travels in plain text and can be intercepted.
In the squid implementations on Linux you can use the digest_ldap_auth that protects the login through hash.
It is possible that we can count on the digest_ldap_auth module in the next release of the package?
Or is there some other way to keep openldap authentication protegedo login / password.
